Kinvest is seeking an experienced Accountant to join its finance team who will be involved in all aspects of the accounting for one of its companies. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a results and process oriented environment. He/She will be faced with ambiguity as the
organization expands.
Kinvest is a growing Rwandan organization with three distinct companies. Kinvest Impact in partnership with its foundation is focused on stimulating marketplaces in rural villages. Kinvest Farms operates an agribusiness that runs its own and partners with local entrepreneurs to develop and cultivate their farmland using sustainable practices. Kinvest Produce operates a global distribution network that sources produce and takes it to market. Collectively Kinvest’s aim is to make a meaningful economic impact to rural communities.
Responsibilities:
- Tasks in the procure to pay process.
- Queuing bank and momo payments.
- Casual labor payroll and RRA filings
- Bank and cash advance reconciliations
- Invoicing for produce sales
- Adhering to month end targets
- Reporting and other ad hoc requests
Objectives
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Familiarity with IFRS
- Progression towards or interest in pursuing an ACCA or CPA an asset, but not required.
- 3 to 5 years of finance related experience with demonstrated growth in responsibility
- Advanced excel skills
- Odoo ERP experience a plus
