Responsibilities

  • Initiate payments using bank transfers or checks for all expenses of Isomo
  • Manage documentation of all payments in a timely manner and upload to google drive
  • Prepare invoices for revenue transactions and process EBM receipts
  • Receive payments for invoices
  • Prepare and initiate monthly payroll
  • Prepare monthly tax submittals and payment including payroll taxes (PAYE, RSSB and any other related), WHT, and VAT
  • Manage check registers – both USD and RWF
  • Notify Senior Strategic Advisor well in advance when funds will be needed, including preparation of a budget request for funds
  • Manage petty cash and petty cash register and daily reconcile balances
  • Post all transactions to Quickbooks Online – payments, invoices, payments received, etc.
  • Assist Administration, Senior Strategic Advisor, and Finance Manager, as needed
  • Work directly with auditors annually
  • Participate in travel with Team for understanding of programming
  • Engage fully in weekly team meetings and gatherings
  • Availability to work at the office/training center full-time
